In addition to these activities, some of the special events that occur during the week are Wednesday's mid-week dance parties, Thursday's Lily Games, and celebration of the Mass.

The Lily Games

Camp Tekakwitha is bringing a new dynamic of fun to Loon Lake in the form of the "Lily Games" premiering during the summer of 2017. This all-camp programming is focused on fun, teamwork, and respect as points are awarded to teams throughout the week based on enthusiasm, respect, sportsmanship, and skill. Mini games as such water relays, life-size bowling, trivia battles and fort-building will showcase some of the greatest competitors in Camp Tekakwitha history and ensure this summer will be one to remember.

Team Spirit

Each camper will be assigned a team (either red, blue, green, or yellow) which they will proudly represent for their week at camp! In order to build the energy and team spirit of each color, we are hopeful your camper will bring clothing and accessories which represent the team he/she is part of. Your child can deck out in as much or as little as he/she would like, but the more energy he/she brings, the better!

A few examples of fun accessories to bring include bandanas, sunglasses, socks, shoes, hats, headbands, ribbons, tutus, face paint, pompoms, morph suits ... you name it!

Point System

Teams will receive points throughout the week as campers perform acts of kindness, share respect and enthusiasm for camp, and compete in nail-biting competitions. Every little thing counts, from enthusiasm and sportsmanship to technique and skill.
