Rebecca Sievers
Camp Director
Camp Tekakwitha holds a very special place in my heart; I spent 10 summers here as a camper and 4 as a counselor. Camp has had the single greatest impact on my growth and development to date. I am so honored and humbled to get to serve the Church through the ministry of Camp Tekakwitha, and I am looking forward to helping others experience God the same way I did through Camp.
"Take a little Teka-with-ya, leave a little bit of yourself behind."
ABBY SORENSen
ASSISTANT CAMP DIRECTOR
Abby, also known as Goldfish, joined the Camp Tek family as a counselor in 2018 and 2019.
During that time, she began to really appreciate the beauty of God’s creation and His presence in nature. With an education in Business and Theology from St. Norbert College, Abby was previously a Faith Formation Coordinator.
She is excited to return to camp and is looking forward to connecting with and supporting all of our local school and parish groups as they come out to Camp Tekakwitha for a variety of retreat opportunities. She can’t wait to share the joy of Christ to all who visit!
McKenna Runde
COMMUNICATIONS & ALUMNI RELATIONS COORDINATOR
McKenna, also known as Fig, has been a part of our camp family for years as a camper, counselor, and full-time staff member. Her passion for camp runs deep! This passion, aided by her education in youth ministry and nonprofit leadership, will help camp continue to grow and flourish in the Green Bay Diocese. It's a gift to be able to share the love and joy of Camp with all!
KAITLYNN KUPSKY
ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF SUMMER CAMP
Kaitlynn, also known as Crayola, has been a part of the Camp Tekakwitha family for 9 years as a camper, counselor, and lead staff member. Kaitlynn has a deep interest for serving youth and helping them grow closer to Christ, especially at Camp -- a special place to learn about and grow closer to God. During the school year, she also teaches at Sacred Heart Catholic School in Shawano.
