Rebecca Sievers

Camp Director

Camp Tekakwitha holds a very special place in my heart; I spent 10 summers here as a camper and 4 as a counselor. Camp has had the single greatest impact on my growth and development to date. I am so honored and humbled to get to serve the Church through the ministry of Camp Tekakwitha, and I am looking forward to helping others experience God the same way I did through Camp.

"Take a little Teka-with-ya, leave a little bit of yourself behind."

Jack Lawlis

MISSIONARY

Jack, known by many as Oak, enjoyed three summers at Camp Tekakwitha as a camper and counselor-in-training, and served on Camp Tekakwitha’s staff during the summers of 2017, 2018, and 2019.  While working at Camp Tek during the summer, Jack studied Political Science and Public Administration at UW-La Crosse and went on to work in legislative affairs and outreach for Minnesota’s Catholic Bishops.
